After following advice-voice lesson/sing vs speaking/please critique

Ok...back again. Worked with a vocal coach. Tried to sing rather than "speak" the song. Looking for honest feedback. Just trying to stay on key and develop a decent voice. Just trying not to make a fool of myself in public. Please take 60 seconds and view and give me your honest thoughts. I have tried to work on the things that forum members have suggested....still have much work to do.

Thanks so much.

that was good man, but you could use a little bit of vibrato to make it even better,

for the blues/country style, I think that you are great :)

but wait for the Professional opinions ^^, from my point of view, as an amateur, I found it very good :)

It souded pretty good. I also find it difficult to sing rather than speak a song in the range that this song is in.

To help break yourself of the habit slide that capo up 2 or 3 more frets to get you out of the speaking range.

John Prine is more of a story teller than a singer.

I love his songs.

I will usually rearrange them a little to help fit my voice and personality.

Keep Up the good work.

I agree with MDEW. Transpose it to a higher pitch, and it will be much easier to sing rather than speak it.
