slstone
Anyone here ever heard of a band in the 80's called Gorky Park? They are Russian! This song was their main hit, don't remember if they had any others.
Jugulator
Yes, Gorky Park was and (I hope) is a great Russian hard rock band. But almost all their songs they sang in English.
slstone
Which is why most non American bands who want to make it big sing in English. Most school aged kids around the world is basically forced to learn English. Because music in their native languages will basically only get them fans of their native countries. People that sing in English, get fans from all over the world. Sad fact of language in America(in my opinion): I think non American bands who sing in English speak much better English, than people who immigrate to America. If you've ever been called by a creditor or telemarketer in America, what is the average % that the person on the other end had such a thick accent, that you found it difficult to understand? So kudos to bands around the world for taking the time do it well!
Singingnewbie
You could add a scream an octave higher or a fifth/sixth depends on how you'd like the melody, before the solo or even after it. Also the solo could be a bit more melodic, just throwing some ideas.

Singingnewbie
O_o veeery good! The "changes" around at 2:30 and 3:00 made it more interesting and it generally has an iron maiden-ish style. Solo was also very nice. Top notch production! [ thumbs up ]
Jugulator
Singingnewbie, thank you. This is a well-known Russian heavy metal band "Aria". Yes, they started their carrier in the early 80th and developed in parallel with IM.
Olem
Sounds fantastic as always, Igor. One big advantage with singing in English is because of its huge word supply, there are lots of synonyms and it is more easy to rhyme in English than most other languages.
