TMV World Legacy Member Snax Posted January 5, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Posted January 5, 2014 Well, i'm usually known as a Rob Halford (Judas Priest) style of singer but I do love to sing other genres as well. Here's me really trying to work on my head voice on the Luther Vandross song Dance With My Father. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loC_UfHLwBA "GIDDYUP!"

TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted January 11, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Posted January 11, 2014 Good stuff, Mike. I was drifting in images and memories. So, whatever "technique" you used is not evident. This is the way that singing is supposed to be. I'm one of the ones, if not the only one, that tried to start the canard that you really were Mr. Halford, lurking as this fishing lure guy from Canada. But this was really good. And I know, just as challenging as "Painkiller." It is my opinion that all songs are challenging in one way or another. There is no way to "phone in" actual singing.
