TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted June 5, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted June 5, 2014 I love everything by the Foo Fighters. I admire so much Dave's songwriting and I have a man-crush on Taylor, the man whom all drummers should aspire to. And I like the way you do FF songs. And this is a real cover, not just an attempt at tribute. For you capture the original intention of the song without trying to sound like Dave. And I know people are going to say, "Ron, you are always applauding people for "singing in their own voice." " Doesn't mean it's any less valid. Bravo, man. And, as an audience, I still feel appreciated in just exactly the amount I was desiring. ;)

TMV World Legacy Member David Posted June 7, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted June 7, 2014 You have a nice voice, but no dynamics in this song.. a little monotone. Cheers, David.
TMV World Legacy Member Overdrive Posted June 7, 2014 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted June 7, 2014 Thanks Keith, and thanks David. That's probably a result of lowering the chorus an octave, making it blend with the rest.
