TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted August 23, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted August 23, 2014 I am a bit mystified. You did not do the falsetto bits. And after the break, you bring a drastic auto-tune, which is not part of the original arrangment or recording strategy. The parts that might seem a tuning problem are in the beginning where you ramp up to a note, we call that scooping. You can solve that by thinking of the ee sound before you start the note. TMV World Legacy Member SLM Posted August 24, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted August 24, 2014 Try to open your mouth a bit more vertically while singing. What I mean by that is that you don't want to let your mouth go wide but you need to enunciate your words more which will get more jaw movement as you are singing. @ron: He actually did not do the auto-tuned harmonies at the end, that is part of the recorded karaoke track and in fact John legend uses that same effect in his original version as well.
