TMV World Legacy Member IamHo Posted March 8, 2015 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted March 8, 2015 Yeah... so my friend just asked me to try this song and I did. I'm not trying to be cocky for singing this song or what, I just want to know what do I need to correct. Btw, am I on pitch or flat all the time? http://vocaroo.com/i/s1TiXzlRhzPX
TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted March 9, 2015 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted March 9, 2015 Pitchy in spots because you are wearing yourself out. Which is a pity because you have the natural range for this song, except for the low parts. You might to just keep the middle line, on that ("where do we go?"). What is wearing you out is you are trying to say the words as you speak them. Instead, you want to sing them. Childhood should be come ch ah d eh d. It seems wrong but while singing, people already know the context and they will hear "childhood." This will help you keep some resonance better, which will give you the volume you need and you can quit pushing air to get volume. Basically, I totally believe you can do this song well, you just needed some vowel tuning and that will be easier once you realize that you sing this, not speak this. You should get an avatar. I know you had one in the old format.

I'm still not really good at singing... How should I correct my pitch? And by the way, I'm an asian and I'm wearing braces. I don't know if being an asian and wearing braces do affect my pronunciation? And when I sing "where do we go?" I should sing the line in my middle note is it? By the way, did I nail the end part half? What is my highest range in that song sung by me?
