Introducing myself and cover

Ok... so here this goes. My name is Lia and I am from Greece. I am 32 years old and have been singing since I can remember. Now I say singing because everyone sings :). But my friends, family you know people who care for me always said I could sing. But... my confidence was never in the right place to go to a professional who could actually tell me if I  sound normal or like a cat screetching.

From what I know and as much as I can understand from reading and looking around my lows are from a D4-F3 and my highs a C4-C5 (btw I know nothing about music and ranges so forgive me for being clueless)

I used to sing as a teen in choirs but was never in front since my stage fright always kept me back and by that I mean full blown "I think I might as well faint". My mics are a joke but I did my best with this cover of Whitney Houstons's The Greatest Love of All (rest her soul, I hope I havent completely murdered this masterpiece)

Seriously, be honest so I can either do something about it or let it rest and just sing to my friends and leave the rest of the world alone ;) thank you so much in advance to everyone.

I hope this link works too. https://soundcloud.com/liak-2/the-greatest-love-of-all

Really good tone. Pitchy, as a bit flat in spots. Last one was about 2 min 4 sec. I am not sure if it is a vowel problem or just a momentary loss of the vocal line. Sometimes, you think about the words and forget the note.

Sounds good to me as well, and I agree with ronws about the pitchiness at times and possibly overthinking the words. Keep singing!

Very nice job! You do a great job of channeling Whitney on this song. I also heard pitch issues at times although it may be singing without any musical reference you may have lost the note a bit. Always try to know exactly what pitch you are aiming for next. Really nice voice, lets hear some more please? :)
