Consumingfire39
I am new to any type of recording and singing in general for that matter. Right now, I cannot figure out how to save a clip of me singing. I downloaded Audacity and created a subscription on thebox, but when I upload from Audacity to the box, the file appears as one that you have to download. What program or combination of programs can I use for simply recording audio and uploading them to be shared?
Seth
You have to export it as a .mp3 for it to play on the box website. I'm not sure if Audacity can do this, but it's likely that iTunes would be able to convert whatever file the program exports as a default into .mp3. ronws
Audacity doesn't come with an mp3 encoder (patent issues.) You have to download later (for free) a LAME (that's the actual name) mp3 encoder. Then Audacity will export to mp3.
