I can't think of anything critical with technique or pitch or anything like that.

A nice clean recording. What I would do if I were you is register the copyright, register it with ASCAP. Because this is a cross-over hit. Seriously. I mean, there's going to be a hip hop version, probably by Alicia Keyes. A country version (which I could being sung by Vince Gill.) The rock version would probably fit Bon Jovi.

Now, true, those people have particular styles to their voice where as you sang this as clean and legit as you could, plus the mixing of the tracks has ironed out a lot. In fact, I would probably mix the voice a little more punchy but that is just a sonic preference of mine. Great orchestration. If you don't record this on an album, then get it out there where others can and count the money rolling in.

Yeah, it's a simple song but simple songs get stuck in people's heads and then they start buying the albums. Next thing you know, you are ordering an english-style Bentley, in beige.

I liked it. Nice job on the song and vocals. The only dislike may be a personal taste thing. But I like cleaner vocals. I'm not talking about clean vs dirty or raspy. I mean clean vs effects. Whatever effect you had on the track made it sound like you were singing with yourself. Slightly like a duet. It causes almost a simultaneous echo. But the singing was good :)

Hi Gilad,

I liked the overall "vibe" of the song, but I must tell you that when it started, I thought you were singing about a new born, son or daughter. I'm sorry but I'm not sure why, the music made me 'feel' that way. When the song progressed, I realized that it was a man-woman relationship type song. Maybe a drum and/or bass after a few lines to give the song that depth, it may change the perception a bit, i think. If you are playing the guitar for the song, i loved the solo. It fit so well into the song, a nice touch. I was also thinking, if not drum/bass, a little piece of guitar solo in the beginning may give the "love song" vibe. But the vocals were good and the lyrics are well-written. I say release it!

MichelleMelonie: Thanks! Interesting point. I hear the same thing about my song Thank You which is in my signature if you want to take a listen. They say that it sounds like a He/She song when infact it talks about my parents. I am most definitely considering adding a bass guitar. Regarding the solo, no, Its not me, but it is a well rounded musician. Thanks again. I am considering it very carefully. Appreciate it.
