I do like your tone, but you seemed to be having some pitch problems. Staying perfectly on pitch in a solo a capella performance is no small feat and requires quite a bit of technical control. You do it much more laid back than she does, even on the soft parts. What you could use is a little more emotion in the voice. Sing it like you wrote it, like you mean it. Trust me, I know.
