akarawd
My voice is now weak from all the screaming these past days so I'll stop for a while. Here's the link to me butchering this track : https://app.box.com/s/wmiyvu2wazks6zzg6951 Any thoughts ? Than
Gneetapp
I believe you man! You made it sound almost like a Metal song. But it is a stylistic choice. However, you need more work on pitch control. Maybe you lack pitch control because of the way you were screaming/adding distortion wouldn't allow it. As I am no vocal teacher, I'm probably wrong in my assumptions. Keep working on it paying more attention to pitch. Cheers.
akarawd
I definitely do, it's not the distortion. And to think that my pitch has improved by 100% lol The truth is that I need to study the songs I cover and not just "give it a go and let's see what happens". I'll try to do that in the next song I post. Thanks a lot for your input, Thanasis

You have a great voice man your grit is just awesome.
ronws
Yeah, there were some pitch issues but you already know how to fix those. Personally, I really liked it. This is way heavier than the original and I think this is how it should have been sung. Get me? Get the few pitchy spots fixed, mainly by getting comfortable with your own version of the song, and then blister our hides off with the finished result. Thanos, the rockstar. jonathangraham
Great job! even Bon Jovi can't find this one a breeze. It may have felt weak to you buddy but it definitely didn't sound it to me. You have inspired me to have a go at a Bon Jovi track right now. looking forward to hearing the next one.
akarawd
Thanks Ron and Jonathan I am glad that although there were pitch issues you liked the tone of the voice. It's such a relief, really Cheers Thanos
ronws
Thanks Ron and Jonathan I am glad that although there were pitch issues you liked the tone of the voice. It's such a relief, really Cheers Thanos Like I was saying, I think you can fix the issues you had by going as heavy as you want to be. I think you probably wobbled from holding back and thinking maybe you should get some Bon Jovi tone in there. Don't. Do it the "Thanos Way." I absolutely guarantee that the few wobbles you had will go away. You'd be surprised how much stronger singing gets when you get out of your own way.
