This is definitely "your" song. I'd recommend to develop your vocal processing skills :) http://www.youtube.com/user/IgorJugulatorZotov

TMV World Legacy Member napoleonboot Posted January 25, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted January 25, 2014 The backing is in stereo, but your vocals is only on the left channel, as Igor said. Good vocals by the way! George George can often be found playing electric stringy things, and singing... TMV World Legacy Member Olem Posted January 25, 2014 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted January 25, 2014 Hahahha, you guys are right of course. I will upload a new version tonight and maybe also change some parts. By the way, there are no delay or reverb in this mix. Would that sound better in this type of music or no, what do you guys think? I liked my vocals more clean here but maybe that is only me, i did use alot of compression, but that´s it. TMV World Legacy Member napoleonboot Posted January 25, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted January 25, 2014 how much reverb you need depends on how much was in your recording environment George can often be found playing electric stringy things, and singing... TMV World Legacy Member Keith Posted January 27, 2014 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted January 27, 2014 I liked it. You sound like you, and James, all mixed together. You are doing good with getting grit in the mid range of your voice, also. www.drop-head.com
TMV World Legacy Member Olem Posted January 27, 2014 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted January 27, 2014 Thanx, Keith, for listening! This type of singing comes natural to me, i think me and James have a similair timbre, low baritone kind of voice. I also noticed that i sounded a little like Tom Araya in some parts :)
TMV World Legacy Member Olem Posted January 28, 2014 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted January 28, 2014 Thanx for listening GuitarGeorge. I record in a closet with no reflection at all but in this case i prefered no reverb at all but maybe a little would make it sound better for the majority.
