Idk why but when i am recording i tend to sing badly...and when im not i nail some nice lick but bare with me.. Tasteful and understated in quite a few places. Yeah, I sing best in my bathroom. The acoustics let me hear the tone of my voice in a way that makes my voice easier to control. Even looping my voice back through headphones isn't as good. So I know the feeling of feeling kind of out of control in a recording session. There's often something unnatural about it, like headphones, or whatever. If I sing the same thing acapella in my bathroom or somewhere here, it's often better in the bathroom, but I stopped dragging mics in there.
