TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted November 11, 2010 TMV World Legacy Member Posted November 11, 2010 One of the nice things about some of the best AC/DC songs, including this one, is the bare bones approach. Like "Highway to Hell," this song as relaxed blues time sig, a lazy good time, well articulated and even some what slow solo from Angus. And, in the break, it changes from a guitar vamp to a bass vamp. A solid, simple drum set up with a minimum of cymbals. And, of course, Brian Johnson hitting some of his highest notes and showing his respect, as this song was intended to be a tribute to Bon Scott and won even the approval of Scott's parents. "Back in Black" was both an anthem song for the band in their struggle to continue and a return to the legacy of all they had been before. And you did this song really well.
