Time is running out by Muse. The end scream is horrible, but I'm gonna work it out. I'll work on it till it sounds great.

What do you think of my singing? My thoughts:

-Sometimes I have small pitch issues, kind of sailing around finding the pitch. It's a control thing and lack of focus, but I'm aware of it.

-On the Spice Girls song I sound very girly and that's alright and I like it there, but if I were to sing say Guns n' Roses then I would need way more edge. Working on my tone and edge in general the best I can and I'm open to suggestions!

-Sometimes I'm a bit nasal, but it has improved a lot though. These songs are not that nasal, but one ballad was unintentionally nasal..

-Generally a bit more depth and intensity to the sound throughout my range. I've improved with that already though. The problem is that I don't want to sound in any way strained or like I'm fighting for the notes. I like singers who make it sound and look relaxed, effortless and controlled even when their belting it all out in full voice, and that's why I'm sometimes afraid to let it all out with full intensity, fearing that I will push it. For some reason I'm even a bit afraid or reluctant to sing the low end with a full, deep tone. That's some mental issue, so that is fear that limits me there.

Start was very good, then you should sing more freely, like Lambert does it. No big deal. Sounds cool.

Vary very good Opaa. I didn't expect sth like that. Really good live performance.

I listened to Time Is Running Out by Muse, I know my sisters boyfriend likes them and would like this as well. I said as well, cause I liked it too! Great job keep it up!

Opaa - I thought your voice was really good on those recordings! Great job man. Good connection - solid tone - good pitch - didn't sound the least bit strained anywhere. And the scream was just fine.

Thank you guitartrek! I am very happy about those performances myself too I was in big trouble with those songs when we started rehearsing for the musical, and I wondered to myself that if I tackle all my problems and turn it into a solid vocal performance it will be a big step forward. I was facing the most persistent problems with my singing habits and technique. But persistent work pays off, clearly!
