  1. Hi, Gneetap, thanx for listening! , I could hear my voice clearly so that is a little strange. It has some delay effect but i have cut back on it after my previous Judas Priest effort since it clearly was a disturbance there. Maybe it still is but i like some reverb, the voice sits better in the mix with it i think. I could post just the vocals here but it would still have the effects since i didn't save it without. I agree with you halfways regarding the voice sounded more like Axl: I think the voice became a little more gritty than expected (like Axl's) but i also think Axl has a brighter tone than i presented here. Yeah, unfortunately the sound is out of sync that is why i filled it with some pictures.

  2. It's not a big thing, Ron. It depends on what goals you have. There is nothing majorly wrong with Felipe's english pronunciation, overall it is very good. I have an accent too and when an english friend of mine listened to my out-of-pitch squeezy sounded  covers it was the only thing he mentioned: "You could work on your english accent". It's another thing if you are consistent with it and you want it to be a trademark of yours. I don't know what goals Felipe has, but it could be difficult to be hired in an english/american band if you don't sing english good. Felipe is a great singer with a great technique, this is IMO one small thing to improve to make a perfect show.

  3. Thanx, for listening, Enander and Pekka!

When i listen to my cover i can hear two different voices/modes. Especially when i listen to the  phrase  "Seeeeen - ti - nel" in the chorus it seems i approach the "Seeen" in two different ways: One way is "chestier" than the other, i guess if it was an E5 instead of D5 it would sound more uniform because i don't have any choice there (well i have but it would be too exhausting). Mostly, I approach it as "chesty" as i could because  I have noticed that since the previous phrase "tempt not the blade all fear the" is in an A4 (i think) and that, at least for me,  is very chesty both in sensation and how it sounds, i get a problem  if i back off too much. If the "Seee" sounds more heady then the whole  chorus  would sound a little strange with two different sounds. But sometimes i am too tired and back off to not crack. Well. I hope you understand what i mean. Any thoughts on this?

Also, it is about the mix. I used A LOT of delay/reverb and sometimes you could hear an echo from an earlier phrase into another which is a little irritating. I also use alot of  - compression - 8:1 i think and an equalizer where i cut anything below 300 hz. I also use a hi-pass filter. How would you mix a song like this?
