  1. Adoney, i can understand why your friends wanted you to do a Symphony X cover, i mean, YOU ARE A RUSSEL ALLEN CLONE!!! I hope you take it as a compliment, i certainly would, who wouldn´t want to sound like Russel Allen. But are you as diverse as singer, Adoney, as Russel? It would be interesting to hear you sing a softer song like "When All Is Lost" - one of my favourite Symphony X-songs.

  2. I think it sounded really very good. You sang this with a very relaxed approach. This is purely a stylistic opinion, but I would have liked more energy in the performance. Again, that's very subjective and I thought the performance was good as was the recording and mixing.

I agree with Geno here, it was very laid back and i would also have preferred more energy, a mor "gutsy" performance. But really there was nothing wrong with it, nice strain-free tone.

  3. It is really nice m8:) nice rasp and power. but maybe I may be wrong but it sounds as if u are forcing your voice a bit.

Can you sing the whole song like this? I mean doesn't your voice got fatigued after you finished the recording?

Also another thing to add is I am nor English neither American so it may have something to do with me but I can't understand some of the lyrics. Besides these, good stuff man keep on working!

Vyper: Thanx for listening. I can sing the whole song like this, pulling alot of chest - but i must have a really good day with a good night´s sleep :). Actually it would have been alot easier if the verses started on a Tenor C, B4´s are very hard for me, my voice wants to jump from A4 to C5. As usual some vowels are harder than others to have sounding good. You are right about the lyrics, i am sure many words are blurred and can be improved. I don´t know about others but i have often problems hearing the exact words from Tenor C and up even from the most skillful singers and i have heard/read that is due to the fact that only certain vowels work in the upper range and if that is right, then it is not strange at all if you can´t hear exactly what is sung.

  4. I agree with Iron. Definitely a metal voice on this take and quite tasty. And here's the funny part, the pitchy spots I heard were not the high notes but stuff in the lower range. For me, I have found, if I get closer to clean italian vowels, most of that clears. It was not debilitating in this performance. But I think you should definitely keep this song in your "set list." You can do and did this song well.

Trust me, been there, done that. I have gone pitchy with low notes. And not so long ago, either.

Hi, Ron, thanx for listening. I don´t know so much about clean italian vowels but will check it up. I haven´t practised my lower range so much and maybe that is revealed here.

  5. Pretty good, I enjoyed it, never heard a metal voice sing this before.

Some pitch issues, timing was a bit off during the ending when the song picked up, and the words that had to be carried seemed to be troubling you. These are all easy things you can fix with some practice of course.

    Regardless, it was entertaining!

Hi, IronZeppelin, thanx for listening. I am not exactly sure what you mean by "the words that had to be carried seemed to be troubling you" - are you referring to the high pitched phrases "There walks a Lady we all know, who shines white light and wants to show"? Could you give an example of a phrase were i was way off pitch?
