Nice one Tommy, again with vocal tone being very similar this style just suites you perfect. I heard much more vibrato in your phrases this time which i loved. Two things for me that could be better imo is just watching for the pitch on the "wheeeeen it's" kinda sounded a little bit like hit and hope but i think that could be that the backing is a little quiet for you. you got a bit of a pop mix going on with the voice being much bigger than everything else. maybe try dropping it 5db. cool tone on the backing track too eh?

I think i'll have to think of some ways to subtly add something to give the song more. when i'm watching the singers I like they really seem to engage so much with camera/audience i guess its what sets them apart. thanks again :cool:

I definitely don't think its odd, as good as he was at guitar I don't think he would have had the wide appeal he had without his great voice. Just like Jimi IMO and I wont hear a bad word said about either ;)

Hello rurokenji, i agree with Keith with regards to the quality of the recording and also i don't think we get to hear enough of your voice to really judge. Maybe try a verse and a chorus of a song and post that so we all can here a bit more. you say you have been having lessons for a little while now. just out of interest what does your teacher say about your questions about your mix voice?
