  1. MDEW, Validar, Gneetapp, thanks so much for the kind words. I'm really pleased you enjoyed it.
  2. Thanks for taking the time Enander. Ive definatly got a bit of a lazy tongue and sometimes when concentrating on the soft palette i forget about other things. its definitely a balancing act for sure. :)
  3. Hi, Sorry for the poor quality but just put together quick as im working on this song atm and could do with some tips on where im going wrong and what you guys like. Many thanks J

  5. Hey everybody, Hope you have all had a great 2013 so far. I've been away for a while working on some new music but I would love to get your take on my new song that i just uploaded. Likes, dislikes or indifference all good. Thanks for your time  J
  6. just copy and paste a link to the page its on in your post.
  7. oh i meant to ask, do you play these songs live with a band?
  8. Nice one Tommy, again with vocal tone being very similar this style just suites you perfect. I heard much more vibrato in your phrases this time which i loved. Two things for me that could be better imo is just watching for the pitch on the "wheeeeen it's" kinda sounded a little bit like hit and hope but i think that could be that the backing is a little quiet for you. you got a bit of a pop mix going on with the voice being much bigger than everything else. maybe try dropping it 5db. cool tone on the backing track too eh?
  9. thanks dokat, thanks for your comments and taking the time to listen and watch in detail. In watching back again i see what you mean about the performance. I think i'll have to think of some ways to subtly add something to give the song more. when i'm watching the singers I like they really seem to engage so much with camera/audience i guess its what sets them apart. thanks again
  10. I definitely don't think its odd, as good as he was at guitar I don't think he would have had the wide appeal he had without his great voice. Just like Jimi IMO and I wont hear a bad word said about either ;)
  11. Man this is so close too SRV's vocal tone. awesome job, lets hear some Texas Flood next please.
  12. Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment guys.
  13. Thanks Ron, I think its from too much Coca-Cola.
  14. Hey people, hope everyone is well. some opinions good or bad on this new vid would be much appreciated Many Thanks :D
  15. Hello rurokenji, i agree with Keith with regards to the quality of the recording and also i don't think we get to hear enough of your voice to really judge. Maybe try a verse and a chorus of a song and post that so we all can here a bit more. you say you have been having lessons for a little while now. just out of interest what does your teacher say about your questions about your mix voice?
