  1. Your vocal classification really does not matter unless you plan on singing opera or the like. Sounds o me like you are a tenor, though, as you are having a real hard time with your lower notes. Lessons would help a lot with this issue. You waiver in and out of key a bit, most likely due to lack of good support. Lessons will help with this also. This forum is loaded with people that teach via skype. it may be a good idea to have a skype lesson with a pro and find out where you stand and decide from there weather or not you want to buy a program, or continue taking skype lessons, or whatever.

  2. Well, the lower parts sound very good in my mind. But why do you sing higher notes in a disconnected falsetto mode? A good option is to use a light mixed voice if you cannot pull much chest.

That wasnt falsetto, that was head voice. I can hold those notes forever, using very little air. i can't mix that high yet.I was getting to B4 in a super strong mix before I took a break to concentrate on school work. I think I am at G4 now. I have such a deep heavy voice that its hard to thin out and mix high at the moment. I am, however, trying!

  3. I didn't mean for the vocals to be soooo loud, but I did want them louder than normal as to not hide any "glitches" in my singing. My voice changes a bit when I get into mixed voice, the higher notes are all head voice. I could not get the mixed voice to work that high - its a work in process lol. I took 7 months off from singing, and I just started doing workouts again last week.

  4. Thanks for your comments Keith. Yes, lots of tuning issues, I will keep practicing this one.

About the unsupported lows, I think you're right. I have a hard time singing low and mid. I think that everyone, specially doing the passagios. Highs are more natural to me, after high B I feel I can go on without having to change much.

Glad you liked even with the issues you pointed. Cheers.

I wish I had that range problem lol. I'm consistently stuck at c#-D#5!

  5. Checked out your songs. You sound like every other beginner. Is someone training you to sing, or are you learning by yourself? If you are training yourself, then you need to learn how to breath properly, and how to warm up. You have a pleasant tone to your voice, and even though you are singing these songs much much lower than the original artist, you seem to have a good ear.
