TMV World Legacy Member juliamontgomerymusic Posted October 19, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Posted October 19, 2012 Hi This is my first post on here This is a version of over the rainbow I performed in a school play. Please please please excuse the flat note at the end. That doesn't usually happen to me so I'm not sure what was up that night :S I think I just got a bit over confident and then let go. Anyways... Julia
TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted October 20, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Posted October 20, 2012 Excellent singing. Don't worry about what you thought was flat. It was live. Those things happen. What's important is that you didn't stop.

Thank you I wish it were better too, but it was recorded on a digital camera in a school gym, which probably isn't the best combination for sound quality, and I'm not sure how to improve it.
TMV World Legacy Member gilad Posted October 20, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Posted October 20, 2012 Dont worry about improving that specific recording. If I were you, I would find a karaoke version of the song on youtube, and then record vocals on it using your computer. Maybe add some reverb/delay to make it sound nice. The recording you posted shows your talent, and I think that was your purpose. Now taking it further and start vocal training unless you have already, and put 110% of yourself into the music. Your young and you can reach the stars if you put the effort. Good luck!!! Thanks again I already have some training but I defiantly have a long time to continue to improve and pursue my vocals.
