TMV World Legacy Member Blameitonthevodka Posted December 27, 2013 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted December 27, 2013 I liked it, the guitar was good, as for the vocals, a little more resonance would be nice I think, so maybe more open throat technique? TMV World Legacy Member MDEW Posted December 28, 2013 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted December 28, 2013 That souded pretty good Wes. I have noticed that you do the same thing that I do. Some of the words sound rushed. "Take those sunken eyes and learn to see." It may be from trying to stay in time with the guitar playng. I am not saying it is bad, because I do that also. It is just something that I have been trying to straiten out in my own rendition. "You need a strong foundation to reach the heights."
TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted December 28, 2013 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted December 28, 2013 Well done and I agree with MDEW. And I don't know if it is necessarily an issue. For playing guitar and singing requires a thought to arrangement not always apparent to others. And if we are to compare to the original on the studio album then I guarantee that you did it as well as the original guys could have done acoustically. Because, in the studio, they would have done as they always do, perfect the recording by means of overdub. With George Martin demanding one more take. But live, with guitar in hand, allowances must be made.
