    Great guitar tone, You sound like you need a better mic and maybe better pop filter.....( you can make your own with a wire hanger and some nylons lol) I would also liked to have heard a little more verb, or at least a spot of delay on the vocals as i thought they were a little dry. i feel your holding yourself back a bit, not fully letting go, I can hear a lot of potential in Your singing, just gotta let it out :)

    Beautiful tone man, very close to freddies on this one, just have to tighten it up just a little bit in spots. Great take none the less :)

    Thanks for the replies guys... i was actually going for a lighter tone this song, I'm usually a hard rock guy. This still needs a lot of work, but I've learned so much singing Steve perry.     Gotta say i prefer yours over Brightmans version. You give off a lot more emotion then she does...... But that is just my opinion. I also prefer the less reverb approach.

    Always loved this tune man Your voice suits Floyd, you should do more covers... Playing guitar and singing is something i'm terrible at... if it ever comes down to me playing some of my stuff live i dunno what ill do haha

    This is my type of music man.... I've been impressed with everything you post lately. Great production, i loved the melodies on this tune , the harmonies were also awesome before the lead guitar solo

    I've always loved this song.....You have a very nice tone to your voice. Nice job moving from that heady tone into full voice in the chorus, that's my favorite part of the song :)

    I have to give you major credit man its one thing to post something you have had 10 takes to do, and another to do something justice live no effects or overdubs, just raw talent. Outstanding mix here. Guitarist definitely has chops to spare as well.

One of my biggest weakness is playing guitar and singing....... you seem to have that down though I too am not familiar with the original but again i really liked this
