  1. Chris, I can't think of one time you have written something positive, address a singers strengths along with their weakness. You simply either write that you don't like it, or nothing at all. You are not the be all/ end all of singers. Yes, you have exceptional ability, but dude, your're kinda a jerk a lot of the time. Its OK to not like something, but at least give a reason. You never backup you're critique with any reason. Get off the cross man. I think you could be a big asset to this forum if you'd just get over yourself.

  2. I'd say your first issue is the Sure 58. It isn't meant for studio recording. I have several mics, and the worst one for recording is a 58. I suggest getting an inexpensive studio mic. I have an audio-technica at2020 (i think thats right lol) and it works great. AND it was free. To get it, all I had to do was buy 2 AT live mics , and they were $99.00 for both. Almost any studio condenser mic will be a monster compared to a 58 in a studio setting . Do you have the Preaonus interface? I have one, but didn't like studio one, so I use it with Cakewalk Producer edition 8.

  3. Keith this one needs more work, you brake when you gone higher.

Something that may help is doing the first verses a bit more strong, this way you bring more energy in there which is necessary and its easier to do the passaggio correctly, the way you are doing now its so light that at least with me would leave no room to pass.

This one is not sounding good yet man. Keep it up. About tunning down a half step, try going up a half step, this way you can do the whole chorus and bridge on head voice, less passings.

Thanks brp - The version I sang was in correct tuning, the live version from the original band is a half step down (in case you didn't realize it). Though, tuning it up would have it's benefits :)

  4. You need to learn the basics. Breathing & support.. Also, practice singing songs that are within your range - it is a good way to use what you have learned in a practical application. I will ling some videos. Master them. Try to find $ for at least a couple skype lessons with a good coach. You will get more out of a one on one lesson than you will out of buying a program. Check out Robert Lunte and Dan Formica. Both are amazing.
