  1. Pronunciation is a better term. I think some of the words were a little garbled. If I didn't know the song, some of the words would be hard to understand. You seemed very comfortable with this song and I did enjoy that.
  2. Jug, it is okay to be a little particular. Don't just settle with the first group of fellas that come around and want to put a band together. No disrespect intended to fellow guitarist but they do seem to be more plentiful than vocalist.:)
  3. I thought you did a pretty nice job. I thought you had good pitch event though the guitar tuning was a little off. Maybe be aware of your annunciation a little more. You did a nice job with the dynamics of the song. Keep working hard. Steve
  4. Great Job Max, very enjoyable. Keep sharing please. Steve
  5. Chavie, What a great job on this. I know you mentioned that ballads aren't your style but you might be on to something. Thank you for sharing. Steve
  6. Tim, that’s some good stuff, great job on the vocals. Your band is very talented, progressive metal takes some very good musicians to pull it off and all of the guys have some serious chops. There are a lot technical things going on that are hard to pick up on with only one listen. I would like to hear the mix for vocals be a little more prominent in songs 2-6. I hear the vocals very well in the first song. Great job and kudos to the band for such a top notch product. Steve
  7. Dougie, I don't have much history with Type O Negative but I really enjoyed your cover. Top notch production. Thank you for sharing. Steve
  8. Rabbitfollows, Are your lyrics complete on this song or are you just working on a possible melody for the song? I guess I thought you were kind of working out what might be the melodic line of the song might sound like; I didn't really pick up any particular lyrics. I do like the general feel of the song. Steve
  9. I like it, I think there is real potential there. I like what youv'e done with the melody, it is a little haunting in a good way. Keep it up. Steve
  10. Wow Keith, very nicely done. We know where Queensryche will turn if they ever have a tour and Geoff needs a a little break.
  11. Dude, seriously, you are not from Russia, who are you kidding. I loved them all, Hope you’re having success in sharing your work with others because it surely deserves it. Keep em coming.
  12. I thought it was very nice; you have great pitch and a good ear. I know this is a softly sung ballad but sing it like you wrote it. I feel there is more there than you are sharing with us. I could sense it as the song ends.
  13. Analog, Gabe is going to be 22 this next month. I will share your nice comments with him. When I mention the forum and the kind words, he says “Aw, that’s nice” and it is sincere. I wish he would visit the forum but he doesn’t spend much time on the computer. I think for the band, he knows it is a necessary evil. Steve
  14. Tommy, I see your soundclick account now has about 38 songs in its inventory. You know, that’s about 3 hours of live music . I'm just saying
  15. Thanks fellas for the nice words, I know the band loves the feel of Soundgarden. They are so young and new at this, I think they are still trying to figure out what their band sound is. Lots of influences.
  16. Hey Gang, I thought I would share one of Gabe’s bands newest originals. They have been releasing one of their originals every time they reach a new milestone on facebook. They recorded this song a couple of months ago in my garage with an Apple lap top and a single mic (a MKV I believe). Gabe mentioned that they forgot they had a big overhead fan on and he can hear his voice chopping. They recorded each part separately of course. Jeremy is the lead guitarist and did the recording and mixing. They are headed into the studio in September to capture the songs for real. Anyhow, here is something a little different. 17. I noticed the key you started on is the key you ended on so that's always a plus. :)
  18. This link isn't working for me. Any one else able to get to it?
  19. Gina, I enjoyed it very much, I really like the richness and sultriness of your voice. Once I got into the song, I didn't pay attention to the vibrato and I thought your version was really good so there must have been the right amount of vibrato used. :)
  20. Dirk, I though you did a great job, I enjoyed it very much. You have a nice ability to put together beautiful runs. I would not expect your voice to come out of the package that is Dirk Parker. I loved it. Keep it up. :)
