  1. Thanks fellas, Keith, hope your voice gets better soon. I'm sure it will, just give it a little rest.
  2. The band has been in the studio and are almost done with their first album. Here is one of the songs. Thanks for listening. Steve
  3. Love it Ron, You and Tommy need to get after it.
  4. Jens, I have listened to this several times and I think you have done a real good job. I think the musicianship is nicely done. I really like the chorus, it has some real meat to it. I think the song flows very well. Soft parts and meaty parts. You did a nice job with this. Keep it up, you two make a great team. Steve
  5. Tommy, I heard a note I hadn't heard you hit before, for example at 1:54 and 2:16.:)
  6. Very nice Tommy, I think you must have been wearing some tighty whiteys. I heard a few notes in there I haven't heard you hit before. I would work on this one and put it in you set. Happy Thanksgiving Steve
  7. Ron, I thought you did a nice job with this, your guitar playing was very cool. I will stay out of the high vs low notes debate as it very subjective to each of us. I will say I think this type of song is in your wheel house. I would definately sit and have a cold one and enjoy an evenign of these types of songs. Thanks for sharring. Steve
  8. Great job Chavie, I love that song, and you did it justice my friend. Keep up the good work. Steve
  9. Jug, do I understand you correctly, this is an original? If so, that is really cool. I am so glad to hear you are pursuing originals. The band sounds great; the guitarist has some real nice chops. Nice catchy riff and real mean metal sound. Keep it up and keep them coming. Steve
  10. Good stuff Max, really liked it. Not what I was expecting at all.:)
  11. Great job guys, I loved it. One thing I noticed watching you sing these types of songs is it takes an amazing amount of power to pull them off. You look like you are going through a really tough workout. Definitely the types of songs only a few brave dare to attempt. I tip my hat to you sir.
  12. Good stuff guys, very nice sound. I'm sorry, I don't know modern rock very well. I assume this is an orginal. It is written very well. It sounds pretty good for your "kitchen studio". I listened to it 3 times. Keep them coming
  13. Great job Overdrive. I'm happy to see young musicians putting in a real effort to better themselves. It takes allot of time to produce something like that. Keep up the good work and have fun with it.
  14. Julie did a beautiful job. She looks very comfortable in front of an audience. I know you mentioned Julie said she would like to try a competition show. I respectfully have a different opinion that Ron on this. I see the competition shows as a free opportunity at an audition. Granted, it isn’t always about the best voice and it is about bringing in viewers so they can sell products. It really doesn’t cost the contestant much too just try it. Nothing may come of it, but what if lightning does strike? What does she have to loose. If she goes into it with the attitude that what the heck, let’s just give it a try and see what happens, she could be surprised. Steve
  15. Jug, there is no doubt, this is your genre. Bravo, loved it. Steve
  16. Chity, great stuff, very epic. Love the vocals and killer riffs. What does it take technically to play those songs live? I would love to see your show. Steve
  17. Tommy, Great job by you and Pistolcat. This is what I am talking about when I see you gigging on Friday or Saturday nights with your band and sharing with the rest of us. It looks like it would be a blast to do; I know I would enjoy it as a patron. Keep up the good work. Steve
  18. great stuff Bridgitte, love the little growl. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Nice job, liked it very much. You are a talented musician. I see you play a little guitar as well. I hope you’re having fun with it. You surely could. If you’re a Pink Floyd fan, you’re on the right track. Thanks for sharing. Steve:)
  20. I don't think of Thoms vocals as sounding like he is singing through a sock, they are quite clear actually. His style may seem more laid back, relaxed and soulful but his diction is pretty good. Maybe it is the way certain words are pronounced that gave me trouble.
  21. Enander, Wow dude, that was sick. Loved it. I love hearing all of the vocalist on this forum "show off', just not at the expense of someone else. I think that is all that was being said. There, done.
