  1. I love this song, and KUDOS for staying in tune while still delivering so much energy!
  2. So I've done a quick cover to let you guys know where my singing is at right now. I enjoy all criticism and feedback. What I know is I still have problems opening up my voice more and breathing efficiently especially when I can't see myself in the mirror. Also, sorry for the very poor guitar playing hahaha. Thanks in advance.
  3. Thanks a lot for the tips. As for the guitar, it did feel very out of tune but it had its strings changed and been tuned by a ''professional'' so I just went along and thought that individual's judgment was better than my ears. I'm glad I was correct. Again thanks, I'm gonna tune it myself tomorrow and I'll try again!
  4. Recording a quick cover of the catchy hit single on the radio right now I feel like the key is a bit low for my voice, any tips on how I can sound good on lower keys than my tessurita? EDIT: lol forgot the link
  5.   Thank you so much for taking the time to share your input, very valuable.
  6.   Well you're doing a good job man. The way you can hit notes while doing almost an exhale scream is something few people can do well! Keep it up!
  7.   Btw, I love your rendition and accent on Thinking Out Loud!!
  8.   Thanks for the input man! Indeed, I had to work with a different key than usual because I was on the guitar too (I'm a very poor guitar player so I just did basic chords lol) so I didn't have a lot of experience with that version of the song. I will definitely work on it thanks again.
  9. I love your sound. That being said, I might be wrong, but I think you're screaming/distorting more than Axl. I believe for Axl, it'is more of a big rasp!
  10. I am still trying to find a niche and of course get my voice to an intermediate level. I took some liberty with the melody during the second verse, which is where I'm most comfortable.   Thanks for listening.
  11.   Thanks for the tip! No more Adam Levine for a while I promise haha
  12. Okay what is going on guys....  Here's a cover of Animals. The thing is I don't really enjoy my tone and timbre, if you guys can pick up things that I could improve I would be infinitely grateful.   I really can't seem to put the finger on what's not working... perhaps I don't have enough fingers for that?? Thanks again.
  13. I'm grateful for any constructive feedback coming my way.     Here's a soundcloud link too in case the video makes you uncomfortable LOL.
  14.   Thanks for your input man. Yeah, I wasn't too sure about the falsetto, it ended up sounding okay to my surprise in a lower key than the original. I can hit the note in the original but it really doesnt sound that good so I got used to singing it an octave lower haha. Thanks again.
  15.   Hahahahaha! Thanks for the input! I'm actually not too sure where I wanna go, it's the curse of appreciating every single genre of music there is. This is definitely not the style of singing I usually go for, but I needed it to AT LEAST try to stay true to the pop-soul feel of the song.    And yes my timbre is rather... different... you know how most people have trouble getting to like their voice? It's always been a struggle for me lol Here's an older video of me to give you an idea of how I adjust to different styles.
  16. I just listened to the original and I can honestly say that I like yours better. Your tone conveyed much more emotion to me at least.   The only little tip I could give you maybe is open up a bit more during the vowels, I can feel there is much more power behind your voice. Perhaps try to cover it a semi-tone higher I'd be curious to hear what it sounds like!
  17. You have such a unique voice dude, very likeable and emotional. Perhaps just open up a bit more!
  18. I honestly enjoyed your performance more than the original man
