We are the champions Queen(Take 2)
Jugulator replied to aravindmadis's topic in REVIEW YOUR SINGING - SHARE YOUR SINGING
Thank you. Singing your fav songs a bit lower could help you avoid the bad habits of getting strained. At the same time you should find a method to increase your "chest" range. And this method is not just to sing these songs in the original key. I'm sure you will be able to sing them even higher than the original key. Cheers.- 12 replies

We are the champions Queen(Take 2)
Jugulator replied to aravindmadis's topic in REVIEW YOUR SINGING - SHARE YOUR SINGING
Hey, man! Very nice try. This is not an easy song to sing. When you go higher you start climbing notes, e.g. when you sing Bb4 "through". When you sing the higher part of the chorus you tend to force. My recommendation is that you try to sing the song a step or two lower to avoid these killer notes. As soon as you're ok with this lowered key, then go higher.- 12 replies

Heaven and Hell - help me with my tone
Jugulator replied to Tappivanukas's topic in REVIEW YOUR SINGING - SHARE YOUR SINGING
This song a very hard one to sing. I can clearly hear that you don't hit the notes, instead you climb them. This is because you push to much air and your vocal folds cannot close properly. Breath support is what you should practice over and over again. -

Not bad at all. My recommendation is to reduce the amount of air when you go higher. And try to add more brightness to the sound. I mean the mask.- 12 replies

Ola, your voice sounds good, you seem to have found a very Halfordish sound. Unfortunately, it's off pitch about 70% of the song. Yes, sometimes it seems that you randomly change the key. -

Great! I like the combination of clear and raspy voice, both high and low. And it's very emotional.

Hi, Ola Very nice try. I think you are close to the sound which Rob used to produce when he was younger. The problem with your cover is that you sing off-pitch. -

Run to the Hills - working version
Jugulator replied to aravindmadis's topic in REVIEW YOUR SINGING - SHARE YOUR SINGING
First of all, try to reduce the volume of the sound when you sing higher as though you are compressing the sound, At the same time, drop your jaw as though you are pronouncing the NG sound and a little yawning at the same time.- 11 replies

Jugulator replied to aravindmadis's topic in REVIEW YOUR SINGING - SHARE YOUR SINGING
Such a killer song you've selected for practice Very nice try, nevertheless. Why don't you sing the song a step or two lower? I don't think it's harmless to sing it in the original key. You should pay attention to breath support and holding back your air. This will help your vocal folds produce a more thick and stable sound.- 11 replies

Hey, man! I have a very good voice. Your primary problem is that you just don't open your throat properly to get those high notes.

Judas Priest - Metal Meltdown

I took a listen to the raw voice track you sent me. Well, definitely it was not falsetto. I think I came to such a conclusion because of the audio production quality. -
Judas Priest - Metal Meltdown
Jugulator replied to akarawd's topic in REVIEW YOUR SINGING - SHARE YOUR SINGING
Very good job, man! The main problem that I can hear is that you sing it in a falsetto voice rather than in a head-based mixed voice which could add more edge and meat. Another issue is that you climb the notes, not just hit them. IMO the cause is that you use too much air in the sound. -
