charlie reacted to Robert Lunte in the four pillars of singing
Charlie,
I am reading this for the first time.
My apologies for not responding sooner, I have been very busy.
1. Unfortunately, just because a teacher has certified in TVS methodology, I do not make it a requirement that they ONLY teach TVS ideas. I have never been "the man in the white suit" that makes teachers ONLY teach my ideas. The TVS teacher program, just means that they have the ability to teach TVS ideas, if they choose to. Also, teachers need to be updated on the techniques. I did 6 hours of "update" training with Maestro DUMOUCH last year and so she should be updated on the onsets and vowels. Sylvie Guichard is also updated. Reach out to both of them and specifically say,
"... hello, I am a customer of the four pillars of singing and I want to learn the TVS techniques. I want to learn about the onsets and the acoustic modes (vowels)... can you teach me THAT?"
2. The product will soon be translated into French... we are very close to doing that work. In fact, Sylvie will be my partner in translating the product into French. But you can work with these two teachers and they can explain things to you.
Frenchoogle:
Charlie,

charlie got a reaction from Adolph Namlik in Imagine - John Lennon
yes I understood
I doubt that even at the edge in that there is a lack of vocal technique.
the method "the four pillars of singing " if it says mixed voice and distortion
Yes why not
I could always come and ask for clarification and explanation afterwards.
I have to think about it

You are lucky to have Robert want to listen to you. You need some training and he has just the program that will help you. You are speaking the lyrics instead of singing them. You need to sing them, think of the voice as an instrument, not just reciting prose. And for that, you need to control the breath, while breath is often NOT controlled in speaking. It must be controlled in singing.
You will want to get some cry into your voice, which means stepping outside of how you normally speak, even if you are speaking English.

Hi Charlie,
Sorry that I couldn't get to this earlier, been working hard lately.
Charlie your recording is ok.
I think you would benefit a lot by just simply training some very clean and and controlled onsets ( special techniques that teach you how to start a singing note, and also train strength and coordination). Your singing needs more respiration, better compression and better resonation. It needs a lot of work Charlie, but working on the onsets is a great place to start. Do you understand?
Charlie, my vocal training program can help you with that: "The Four Pillars of Singing".

Hey Charlie,
Glad you like this video... But you need to focus on the basics right now.
- Onsets.
- Learning how to "buzz" on nasal consonants to heal your voice and build some vocal health.
- Some basic scales to train.
- Keep singing songs as your voice grows stronger.
We can get to distortion later, first we have to train a foundation for you.

charlie got a reaction from Adolph Namlik in Robert Lunte - "I Can't Make You Love Me" - Bonnie Raitt Tribute
ok thank you for the link
Indeed , and as you would expect it 's worth a visit
beautiful intepretation
I love this mix of clear and his fry (like lizard )
voice distortion is a technique that can bring a lot to the intepretation
especially acute in the style of Janis Joplin or James Brown
his tutorial it's impressive that power in his voice when he rises in the treble
there is the twang for sharp but not too interested
(
only twang ... not)it was a pleasure to listen

I skipped by your link at first but now I see it. A good song for your range. And you definitely have a thick french accent.
And this was good enough if you are singing the song like a french folk singer.

charlie reacted to ElenaHouse in QUEEN - Who Wants to Live Forever - Vampire style
Hi guys.
I love this song by the unbeatable Freddie Mercury. I made my video story from the feeling I got for this song while watching Highlander. I felt that a vampire might feel the same way after snacking on many lovers over the decades.
It was interesting that after seeing a picture I posted for this video on Facebook the producer for the upcoming movie "Atlanta Vampire Movie" contacted me to be in be in the movie. It's a Vampire spoof. It's gonna be so fun to make.
