  1. Hi! Had to put something together quickly with the notebook, currently away from home. I thinkin its ok but there may be some unballances on the mix (no good headphones with me ). https://app.box.com/s/kwny9uwtzmjq2ugeet4swf8bx1enhswj \m/ rock on!
  2. @Olem thanks for the feedback and the words man. Would you mind pointing spots where its most evident? @Jugulator haha thank you! Guess its time for Detroit Rock City @guitarplayerjax thank you!! @Brooklyn Thanks a lot!! @Darius Thanks for your words and the feedback! Will keep it in mind!
  3. @Jabroni thank you!! I understand your idea, do you think it would sound cool if pulled on that direction? @rowns and Pekka I surely can live with that one :). Although platforms would probably result in multiple fractures hehehe Thanks guys! @mdew thank you man. @Gnee I agree. I pushed the bar a little bit on the verses because it matches what I am currently working on, serves to show that power does not necessarily come from going hard at it! Thanks for the careful listening and for the words!
  4. Hello Pekka! Yep this needs some work. Towards the end you relax more. Listen to "How am I supposed to carry on". If you sing around that level of weight and color, it will be much better. About pitch I agree with sexy beast. Also pay attention to how you attack notes , you are coming from bellow the pitch a lot of times. Keep it up!
  5. Hello! Fun song that I've been studying for a while, and performing. This is the final version, hope you like it! Everyone that listens and drop a few lines, thank you a lot https://app.box.com/s/mmw2yufquor4sg1fyu4a4lq4eg1hxldl
  6. Thanks everyone that sent their songs!! I will set a thread so that we can hear all the results and vote on the one we like more real soon (today probably).   How long should it take? One or two weeks?
  7. haahha thanks Olem, an uglier Paul Stanley maybe ahahahah   @Gneetapp thank you!
  8. Hey my friend,   This is sounding quite nice. Sounding more natural than other recordings Ive heard from you in the past, this path you took is really great, the lower spots in particular improved, a lot. Nothing that takes away from the result comes to my mind, the tonal quality is good.     About recording on a studio, it can improve things because you will have just one job (singing).
  9. @Jameel   I have no idea, maybe you should, maybe not, what do you want to do?   I listenned to the sample, there is a lot of work ahead if you choose to sing, I believe you will need help to get to your goals and its probably going to take a lot of discipline and patience. Picture a long road ahead, but results are possible.   So, what will it be?
  10. Hello! As proposed by Elvis_Osmanovic we are organizing a friendly competition, to stimulate everyone on their studies and just have some fun. Due to the friendly nature, there are no prizes and no strict rules about it. The song of the Challenge is : "All of Me" by John Legend I´ve linked here a backing track that I found and that seems acceptable (although it has backing vocals, and they are auto-tuned   ). But, feel free to record the song in any manner you want, accapella, guitar+vocals, a different version, other backing tracks, etc. I know that not everyone has the condition to do an overdub recording, so my suggestion for those that may like the idea but don't have the means (or the time) to do so is: - place a cellphone on the room 2 or 3 meters away from you;- set it to record;- play the backingtrack on a good stereo (set the EQ to flat);- sing on top of it. This way you can balance the sound on the room and you will record what you are hearing. The result will not be hi-fi but at least will not get in the way. Auto-tune won´t be allowed, for obvious reasons. And I also kindly ask the participants to go easy on the editing. To participate, all you need to do is send your version on the review section, on a new thread, and send the link to your thread here. I will keep this thread clean so we can organize it better, to talk about the Challenge, please use the >ORIGINAL THREAD. Postings made here with any other content other than the link to your song will be moved over there. You can participate up to April 30th, I believe its enough time, if you guys think it needs to change, let me know on the original thread and we can adjust it. The winner will be decided by voting right after that. Good Luck!!!John Legend All Of Me (Karaoke).mp3
  11. Hey man!   Great choice of song, I am a fan of Sabbath too, specially the Dio era. Dehumanizer is one hell of an album.     But I did not like how its coming along right now. On the beginning, you were a bit loose on the registration, some breaks going on. Overall, the tone is squeezed and narrow. I would try to find more space, "spread" it more...   Keep it up!
  12. @Grunge Hey man, thank you a lot!!!   @Alberto haha money is always welcome! No CD on the plans I am afraid haha . Thank you for your words!   @carp oh man. I think it took around 3 hours to get my head around the melody lines, timings and etc. I also had to redo it because I found that I messed up the melody on the verses. I did listen to it a lot before singing it. In my opinion the problem in this song is the energy level that needs to be very high to pass the feel I think it needs. Thanks for your words! Edit: by ear.   About this idea of getting stuff right away, yes and no. Control of course becomes the same for everything, but, depending on the style and song, you will have a learning process to it. If I decided to sing Samba for example, I would have to study a lot to do the songs justice. That would probably take some months. As you get used to a style, you start to get the idea much quicker, like learning licks and riffs on the guitar.
  13. @geno thanks my friend (everything ok with your nick?)   @gnee thank you so much! This one needs an extra bite to sound cool, I did change it!   @akarawd Thank you so much man, really kind words, I love his work.
  14. @mrloud thank you!! Love the band too m/ @mdew no problems man! Thanks for hearing it and for the words :)
  15. Man, you are singing it one octave bellow the normal melody, that's why it sounds with no life...
