Moderator & Review Specialist Gsoul82 Posted May 10, 2016 Moderator & Review Specialist Share Posted May 10, 2016 At this point, we've done several genre-based challenges, where we voted on a genre, then voted on a song from that genre. We've also started doing non-genre-based themed challenges, like the Lover's Challenge from December, wherein any song involving love could be selected, and the more recent Artist challenge, where we voted on an artist and selected any song in that artist's catalog. Where does everybody want to go next? I've been thinking for a while about doing a National Challenge, where we choose songs about our country or places within our country. I think I introduced that idea back in November, and with Memorial Day coming up in the states, I was reminded. 1 "Quitters Never Win"

Philidelphia Freedom, Sweet Home Alabama, New York New York, Kansas City Here I come...............................Got a wife and kids in Baltimore Jack (closest big city to me)............ 1 "You need a strong foundation to reach the heights." Yeah, so many choices there. Would allow us to hear some interesting stuff. 15 hours ago, Bzean123 said: With all the legendary singers passing recently - Prince, David Bowie, Merle Haggard, etc - everyone choosing a song to memorialize one of them would be appropriate, I think. Like a Late Legends 2016 challenge? I like that. 1 "Quitters Never Win"
TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted May 13, 2016 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted May 13, 2016 When I read the thing about songs for cities or states, I immediately thought of "Fool for the City" by Foghat.
Moderator & Review Specialist Gsoul82 Posted May 14, 2016 Author Moderator & Review Specialist Share Posted May 14, 2016 Also, one more thing came to mind. Killer had a great idea by making an imitations thread a few months back. That would make a pretty great challenge. An Imitations Challenge, where we choose a song by an artist and try to imitate their technique! 2 "Quitters Never Win"
