  1. Sounds great. Only thing that I would suggest would be to ad some sould to it.
  2. This songs timing is pretty crazy. Started working on it today, and this is as far as I have gotten. Sorry in advance about not coming in at the right time - if you are unfamiliar with the song, then you won't understand why its a pain in the arse. http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11658384&q=hi&newref=1
  3. Dude, that was awesome! I'd love to get my hands on your backing track if you are ever bored and want to make Eden Echo for me, ainwouldnt be upset lol. Great job man.
  4. We are all kinda busy most if the time. I usually listen in bulk when I can lol. Be patient, we will get to you.
  5. Your voice sounded a little too buried in the mix, but from what I did hear it sounded great bro.
  6. I actually posted that song in here a while back. It's in here somewhere lol
  7. The things you want your voice to do (sing journey) is what all vocalists want. There is no fast way or easy answer. Get a coach or a vocal program . There is not a post or even 20 posts anywhere that is going to tell you exactly what you need to do. It's a process, and it takes time. Start with the basics. Breathing an support. Developing full voice in your entire range takes dedication. To put things in prospective, I dedicate 2-4 hours a day practicing, and I don't have that full voice yet .
  8. Sounds great man. Also sounds like you are getting more comfortable with the whole recording mixing process. Give yourself some EQ . Adding a little 8K and 2K will brighten your voice up a little. Just don't over do it.
  9. While I agree that staying relaxed is important, the act of singing louder suggests trying harder which suggests straining. It's more about resonance and vowel modification.
  10. I can only listen on my computer, not my iPhone . So when I'm around my laptop. I listen to your stuff. The only critique I have is that sometimes you alsound like your pulling Chest voice up too high, and the note you are singing gets pitchy because of it. As far as recording, I wish you ha cakewalk I'm good at cakewalk. (and pro tools)
  11. I use cakewalk sonar 8 pro, a studio vocal mic (at2020), a presinus audiobox, and I found the file on YouTube .
  12. Well, I can't sing a straight tone. My vibrato is automatic. The only weird thing is depending on how low or high I am singing, it seems to come from different places .my low notes, I feel it in my lower belly.. My higher notes I feel it in my throat. I was told once that vibrato should be automatic..
  13. Yes I know, Thats because you sounded like Neil Diamond LOL!
  14. Thanks for listening peeps. I have been messing around with diaphragmatic vibrato .. Though, on the higher notes, it is coming from my throat.. Don't remember what that type is called. Is it bad?
  15. Throat still a little messed up from killing it at my last show, but I don't let that crap slow me down (lol) Anyway, this is the last of my Kamelot backing tracks, so I figured I'd just get it out ot the way. Some "pitchy" notes here and there, some higher notes still pretty weird. Anyway, critique away. http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11611048&q=hi&newref=1
  16. Awesome job bro. If you are taking requests, I'd like to hear "I'm Alive" :)
  17. I'd like to hear you sing "In The Arms of an Angel" .. This song sounded great. Here is a link to karaoke track on youtube.
  18. Dude, you do Elvis better than Elvis did elvis!
