  1. Ya for sure have the blues down my brother. Great job.
  2. My other thread on here dissappeared, so here it is again. Wanted feedback on my new found resonance. Thanks in advance for any critiques. http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11725970&q=hi&newref=1
  3. 3 more awesome covers. Still like the Tom Jones one the best though. :)
  4. Thats the best cover I have ever heard you sing. Great job bro!
  5. Very Nice! A pleasure to listen to. I do not however know anything about the Japanese language.
  6. Great cover! Your voice has that "buzz" to it, and resonates well. You taking lessons?
  7. Was good for what it was. I'd like to hear you standing up I'm from of a real mic without the distractions of driving. There is a lack of emotion in your driving videos - most likely due to your attention being on the road (which is a good thing)
  8. Great covers. The Tom Jones song was over the top!
  9. Nice man. I would love to record you in my studio though !
  10. Ohh - not the whistle (my bad) I am not doing anything with that, it is something that just happens once in a while when I am trying to do something else lol.
  11. Yes to all the above. The Vocals to the new songs follow this style- with my own hooks of course.
  12. Yeah, I live and breath Pillars lol - it has REALLY been helping me with it (resonance) . I can feel my voice doing things that it wasn't able to do before, and the stamina building is crazy.
  13. Funny you should mention. I am messing around with a different style - one which uses resonance instead of pushing. I still have a ton of support (or my held notes would waiver) . What tends to happen when I yank my chest up and belt is I get some distortion of some kind - which leads me to believe that I am doing it all wrong . So I decided to take a less aggressive approach to singing all notes and try to get rid of some of that weird distorted stuff . I can sing the ang all in chest and belt it, however it would be counter productive to my bridge training. The higher notes are actually low head tones. And resonance is key to singing them. Very acute ear you have !
  14. Vocal remover crummy quality. Got bored of doing stats homework so I decided to do this instead. Any canter, any thoughts, and anecdotes? Or critiques even? http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11714034&q=hi&newref=1
  15. Sounds like there is too much air coming out of your bass notes - and you need work on your passagio notes, as I can hear the flutter between head and chest on the notes you sing between d4 and g4. Other the that, sounds great!
  16. Nice. As far as recording - your input volume on the mic channel is too hot causing you to clip the mic. Back that off a bit. I would add some eq to your vocals also - boost the highs a touch. I bet if you get the clipping and distortion out of the vocal track it will sound amazing! I'd mix it for you if you get a vocal track that is not distorted, just send me the karaoke track and the vocal track separately as mp3s .
  17. God bless you for doing this one. Your verses are sang too high! Imagine that! You can sing this song too high.. Listen close to the verses and I think you will find it to be easier than what you just did .
