  1. Thanks a lot man. Means a lot me to. I put my heart into it for real!
  2. Thanks Ron! I heard the song at the bar I DJ at and just HAD to learn it. It's a little rough in spots still I think. Trent's nuances are sometimes difficult for me to pick up on.
  3. Thanks man, I am falling apart, so that helps :)
  4. I have been working on Until Kingdom Come - been a year so far. Can ALMOST get most of it in chest. Almost.
  5. Good stuff man. Try to keep more "chestiness" in Roll the fire in the chorus ( the "In spite of my fear, I call your name once again." Try to thing of skydiving when you sing it - like you are falling. Higher notes are psychological that way. Other than that, sounds great! Roy Khan is my favorite singer.
  6. Wanted to try this one - great song. http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=12590829&q=hi&newref=1
  7. Lol Ron, these songs are old yes, but re-recorded from the ground up.
  8. Thanks for listening guys! We recorded in a basement in Rochester, NY. With a full on pro tools rig. I actually am going there tomorrow to record 3 more. So we will be releasing 15 songs soon!
  9. Sounds good man! Lots of power in the higher parts. You have a pretty cool voice man.
  10. Here are the first 3 of 12 original songs that are mastered. Let me know what ya think! Come Back to Me http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=12570117&q=hi&newref=1 Inside My Head http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=12570125&q=hi&newref=1 Fighting For Air http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=12570121&q=hi&newref=1
  11. Every time you add an effect into a mix (for any instrument) you get a little less of the tru sound of your voice. The proper way is to mix effects on a separate channel so you can use channel EQ and stuff to bring back the natural sound of your instrument.
  12. Stunningly awesome! You sound great! Where /with whome do you train?
  13. you are still struggling a bit with that A4 in the chorus. Also, you are washing out the sound of your voice with all the effects. I would tone it back a bit lol. Sounds better than last time, so keep up the good work!
  14. Just find the right vowel man, and you'll get it. Also, sometimes it helps to siren down, instead of up.
  15. Sounds like you are shouting to try to get more power into that note. I sing it " and I daa waaaaa the world to see me" to get the placement right . Then "and I daaahnt waaaaant" (adding in the ends of the words). sounds silly, but it worked for me.
  16. I recorded double tracks. Triple in the choruses. It's just too tight to be noticeable I guess.
