  1. Hello, Snax, it´s great to see you here again. An impressive performance as always, world class singing and world class mixing. To me this was a sleeping pill though, i think Tom Jones has made many better songs than this dull one. When it comes to your singing IMO i think you had too many vibrato parts, if you had mixed it up a little more i think it would have been an even better performance.
  2. Great singing, Keith, and a pretty good song. You played the drums too? Impressive.
  3. Hello, Nick, a whole step? Ok, i thought he started on C and then attacked up to D. Well, as i said, i have difficulties hearing the exact pitches.
  4. Sounds great, Keith! Yes, i also hear more resonance and less crack in your upper range than before Keith, congrats and keep up the good work.
  5. Your voice is flawless as usual, mr Bluesman. Your voice is still clipping the mic, lower the input settings on your amplifier and that should do it.
  6. Hello, Tommy, thanx for your reply. i completely understand what you mean. and maybe i should try to approach this with a different configuration, i have a tendency to shout more when i add rasp because i have to push more, maybe i am doing it wrong or perhaps my support isn´t good enough.
  7. Thanx for your repiles, Keith and Nick. Is it a half or a whole step too high? I must practise my ability to hear different pitches, it´s one of my biggest weaknesses. Well, i hope i am not very far off becasue then i will be worried. Another thing i have noticed was that my voice alters after some two hours or so of singing. I was practising this song in segments, singing one verse - then rest a little - then singing the next verse and so on. The last verses sound different than the rest, seems like my voice is a little tired in the end.
  8. Hello, singing folks! I was singing this song alot a couple of years ago and it was in mickey mouse style then. I decided to try it once again to see if i could come up with a fuller head voice this time. I had to support really hard to produce some rasp up in the higher range, i don´t know if that´s how you do it, but to stay relax and produce the rasp didn´t work for me. Well, give me your opinions, folks, i welcome all critique - good as bad as long as it is constructive. Thanx in advance. https://www.box.com/s/49c2325e8a6043dd1e42
  9. Great job Mr Blues, ladies and gentlemen we have just listened to BB King´s successor here . i agree with others about the mic thing, but that is easily fixed.
  10. This sounds great, Opa. In some parts you sound really girlish. And that is meant as a compliment, it sounded great, unstrained. I would also like to hear your voice together with a backing track.
  11. Hello, Ron, thanx for your feedback. Ron, u use audacity too, right? I don´t really know how to use the reverb function there, what settings to apply. Do you?
  12. You have a great voice, Max, congratulations. Your distortion sounded fabolous and you were close to the sound of RJD. I totally enjoyed it and now i am looking forward to hear you doing a full song. Keep up the good work, Max.
  13. Howdy, Max, thanx for your feedback. Spot on there i think, yes my voice is squeezed in the trooper, but it was even more before so i am making progress. I hope i can improve my support and sing with a more relaxed open throat in the future. See ya around, Max.
  14. :) , Tanya, thanx for your kind words. Well i can´t play guitar or any instrument for that matter, the only instrument i can play a little are the drums so i think it would be a little difficult for me to write my own stuff.I can learn of course but right now i am pretty satisfied with trying to imitate my idols.
  15. Hello, Tommy and Keith, thanx for feedback. Yes, i think you are right, my pitch control is very bad, it is sung a little too high right "slave to the power of death"? It happens each time because i only recorded the chorus once, that´s why :)
  16. Stevie Ray Vaughn is a great guitarrist, i think you sing better than him. You have a great voice and you sing here in your right element - the blues genre.
  17. Awesome Dj, i wanted to hear more Your voice is perfect for Dio songs.
  18. I love Hardline, they are among the best in the genre melodic hard rock IMO. Their debute is a classic record. I rank their latest record their second best, it is a great record and every fan of melodic hard rock should check this record out.
  19. Good job, Keith! It was a joy to listen to, just a few pitchy spots and it was not that bad. I can hear that your voice has improved in the upper range, congratulations!
  20. Great stuff, Dj, conqratulations! YOu are worth it.
  21. Hello, there! Iron Maiden is my favourite band and i love trying to sing their songs. I am a little tired of "The Trooper", hahaha, but just a little so that´s why i mixed it up with "Powerslave". Shoot! Sorry about my poor mixing abilities. https://www.box.com/s/98819f071c24c906bdbf https://www.box.com/s/2cb8404f8ad20d36dd31 Thanx in advance Ola
  22. This was really a surprise, Deth! You made this song rock. Fantastic rock voice you got there, nice rasp!
  23. Great, Jug! This is what i am talking about - perfect - this is your genre. The only small complaint i have about your singing is that it lacks a bit of attitude, some more feeling expressed - some grit here and there. But as a whole you and your band made a terrific job here. It was definately a joy to listen - production and performance was very proffessional.
  24. That was a great Queen cover (Show must go on) Jug. It was a joy to listen to.
