  1. Thanx for your reply, Igor. Well, it is a damn hard sound to produce, you need to be really warmed up and it takes alot of support, but anyway, it is fun to do.
  2. Thanx, Ron, you are always so kind. This was a one-take and there should be room for alot of improvement, it has been a long time since i sang this extreme stuff. I have already witnessed a big improvement on my grit on a couple of days since i first started with "Seasons in the abyss".
  3. Practising grit and my mean voice. Critique are always welcome. Thanx in advance. https://www.box.com/s/29vz7n0dwme65lmtcid1
  4. Stunnishing. Like a carbon copy of Cornell. That 15 second scream around the 3 minute mark is just beyond this world. Absolutely great.
  5. You sound good, Keith, and the song is cool too. I liked this raw mix, you are a tight band and the new drummer fits in.
  6. Thanx, Ron. i don´t quite understand that you said about low overtones in my voice. Could you elaborate that? Yeah, the drummer, Dave Lombardo is a beast on drums - he is not only viciously fast on the pedals he has a great feeling for rhythm also and is one of the best in the hard rock business IMO.
  7. Ah, then i understand Deth. So you play guitar too? To play guitar and sing Maiden stuff may be asking for a little too much, hahaha. Brave task man.
  8. Hahahahha, did i hear the neighbour upstairs stomp their feet or was it you? Even though i have a house neighbours complained so i had to go down to the basement, hahahha. Anyway, what else can i say, you sing heavy metal like a God, your grit is fantastic. I hope you are not homeless now, hahahha.
  9. One of the most talented guys, if not the most, is back! Your mixed voice is a God´s blessing, and you can write great tunes as well. If u don´t already have a record contract it´s right around the corner waiting for you. Go ahead and pick it up.
  10. It sounds great, George, the first 30 seconds sounds less confident than the rest but as a whole an amazing craft. I haven´t heard you sing this well in your upper range before.
  11. Your singing is impressive as always even though i have heard even more impressed stuff from you. Your vibrato is unstable at some places but other than that i can´t think of anything to improve. If i were you though i would leave this song out of the set list - by Iron Maiden standards it is a rather weak song, there are alot better songs IMO even on that record and Iron Maiden hasn´t played it very often live what i can reckon.
  12. Good job, Ron, and you already know what i feel about your voice so i will not add anything further.
  13. Great singing Lord, it sounded very similair to Coverdale´s voice. I am weak for this type of voice where you carry chest up high. Congratulations!
  14. Hi I wanted to try to sing something harder, i mean harder type of music not harder to sing necesseraly. As usual all critics are welcome, good as bad. https://www.box.com/s/9xaw8gzgnmpgyuq2ugsl
  15. Well, i am quite sure he is not lying. Bruce has always been very fit, not a typical rock star with a self-destructive behaviour. He is a strong/fit guy which has helped him singing in this physical demanding style all these years. He has had alot of "practise" over the years from all the numerous shows on the road - he is alot better singer nowadays than in the beginning. Bruce is also an intelligent guy so i am sure he could obtain things he read in a book. Alot of "practise/singing" non-destructive behaviour, physically strong, talent (he could sing high notes from the beginning), intelligence - all these factors contributed.
  16. Well, i have made another version, focusing on nailing pitch. I hope i am doing somewhat better. I think i started most phrases in the verses on a D when i think Bruce starts on an E, also i think i have a tendency of skipping notes when i "climb". For example when i started on an E, i then tend to skip the F and go right on to the G. So, what i think i must practise more is scales. Well, what do you think of this version? https://www.box.com/s/wwciszpfv2vc1tofpqrn
  17. Wow, That´s sounds great, Tony, maybe i will ask a favour of you in the future :)
  18. You did a fine job with this song, Keith. Good luck!
  19. Hi, Keith, thanx for your reply. So you mean i initiate a phrase in a wrong pitch but end up at the right? Could you give me some examples where i am way off pitch? I will listen more closely to the song and try it again and see if i can be on pitch the next time.
  20. I got such a "live" feeling when i listen to this song, a very "naked" mix. I liked that, it felt natural. Regarding vocal technique the others explain that better, but i thought your vocals sounded good here. Keep up the good work, Tony!
  21. Thanx alot, Tony! I would love to have some of your Iron Maiden backers, which ones do you have? Ron: Hehe, ok, i promise.
  22. very nice, Igor. Beautiful video and a beautiful voice.
  23. Thanx, Ron. I sang it once again and changed the parts i thought sounded better. I can sing the whole song in one piece if it wasn´t for the scream in the chorus - there i crack most often and need to retake.
  24. I liked it too, your voice sounds free and strong. Your higher notes at the end of the song sounded great. Keep up the good work.
