  1. You did a good job here , Ron, and Keith too for mixing it. Ya, the A5´s sounded a bit too screamy but at least you could hit them, i can´t , i have "only" reached G5.
  2. Hehe, good it wasn´t horrific Well, i can hear that phrase there at 42 sec is off pitch. I´ve always had problems hearing the right pitch, need to pracitse more on that. I sing along and it feels like it´s right pitch but then when i listen it doesn´t seem right. Can you hear more phrases that are totally off pitch? "And it makes me wanna cry" dcesn´t seem right either in the last verse. Thanx for listening Tommy.
  3. You sounded very similair to Geoff Tate, very, and i guess that is good critique :)
  4. Very entertaining as usual mr bluesman! Fabulous!
  5. Sounds great, Felipe! I love U2 as well so I noticed a different pronunciation in the word "beautiful", but this is not a critique. This was joy to listen to.
  6. Very proffessional, i like both versions very much. Thanx for sharing tips and songs.
  7. Thanx, for listening Keith! It must be a great feeling to play this song live.
  8. Hi, singing folks! I have been away for awhile but i thought i would jump back into this excellent forum and also give you something to critique on. Bad or Good, as long as it is constructive critique it is always welcome. Thanx in advance https://www.box.com/s/6a3ff84a2d3c68c2de93
  9. Hello, Chavie and Jugulator, thanx for listening. Jugulator: I haven´t tried to sing anything with UDO on vocals but i think he has a very unique voice and would like to try to sing one of those classic Accept songs one day. I am afraid ,though, that i won´t be able to catch something similair to his vicious rasp at the moment.
  10. Stunning, Chavie. I enjoyed this very much. Your voice is a blessing, you are one of the greatest talents here IMO. There were some slight problems with the rhythm in the beginning, but i give you like 95 out of 100 for this performance.
  11. Robert, great singing, there is nothing wrong with it, this is a great performance IMO. IMO it´s ridiculous if anyone compare your voice with Gillan´s and give bad critique if it´s not a carbon copy of Gillan´s timbre. There is only one Gillan and noone will sound exactly like him except for Gillan himself, as Ron says. Also i liked DJDeth´s performance very much and i really thought for a moment that it actually was Gillan himself i heard and that Dj send the wrong link I would love to try this myself one day.
  12. Hello, Keith, you did a nice job here. The song lacks a little "meat" in the upper range, you still lack a connection between chest and head. Continue to practise and you will be rewarded one day and get that unified voice. Keep up the good work.
  13. Hello, srs, thanx for listening to my clip and for giving me that advice, i will definately try it.
  14. Thanx, Felipe, seems like a great suggestion, i will try it.
  15. Fantastic, DjDeth, congratulations, you nailed it IMO. It´s impressive how you managed to keep the distortion up there.
  16. Hello, Felipe, thanx for your answer. I feel the tone is directed to the back of my head, i also feel the lower regions are working, i try to resist and keep it expanded but it is very exhausting.
  17. Thanx for listening, Enander, DjDeth and Daug. Enander: One day i hope i could add distortion without pushing and straining, i think i must practise it more and focus on relaxing. DjDeth: Yes, you are right, the timing is a bit off. Daug: I really hope so :)
  18. Thanx, for listening and for your tips, Robert. I will try to focus on leveraging my tongue the next time.
  19. Thanx Keith, Ron and Snax for your kind words. I am nowhere near mr Halfords effort here but i´m just glad that i could make an attempt without making a complete fool out of myself. Snax, i really hope you try this song because i think your attempt would be a killer and something to be remembered. By the way, here is my attempt from 2009 when i hadn´t sing for a long time, just for the fun of it: https://www.box.com/s/0bcbefa89b0c64cbe755
  20. Fantastic singing, Felipe, very relaxed and full sounding. If i didn´t know it was you and heard just the chorus i could have sworn it was Audioslave and Cornell.
  21. Cool, Mr Bluesman. Did you take a mixing course, Tommy? I think the sound quality is at another level, much better than before. You are born to sing the blues.
  22. Ok, so i tried to sing it one step lower, from B4 on the verses and i didn´t pushed so much. https://www.box.com/s/45335f9dcb476648806a
