Sounds really cool man! Production is awsome, you've really found the timbre for the song and it seems like you can do it for a long time  The only thing I would work on is making sure the pitch becomes correct even with that kind of timbre. Right now you are attacking the chorus a little flat but I think it's just a matter of attention to detail.
Great work man, keep the covers coming!

Saw this one had no replies yet, so I took a listen.
It's pretty cool. Subtle vibrato. Builds up to a little intensity at the end. The emotion is there. All I would really say is maybe just work on holding those notes at those parts where you increase the volume a bit and hold the words at the end of some of the phrases, like at 2:59 and the couple places you do that kind of thing afterwards.
What do you think still needs to be changed?

@Mivke lame!  Hahaha not! Very nice man. It was a impressive progress you did since last time, not in Technique, but in musicianship and expressiveness.  This is the kind of quality you should always strive for! Good work man.

I liked it and don't really have any technical points to add or pointed critique about "artistic choices." What is interesting is that while one would most expect to hear Miles on this, you voice, to me, as sound similar to Kiske and a few others with meaty voices. Which I mean as a good thing.

Bruce sounds a little darker and heavier set in the chorus.  Is it a physiology function?  I mean can someone with a lower center of voice exactly mimic the Bruce sound?  
But all in all, amazing work.  Please keep posting more work!!

I just found a song I started working on quite some time ago and then kind of just forgot about. I would like to finish it but I would like some feedback from those of you that wish to give some

I'm quite happy with most of it but I still feel it could improve. Also, pardon me for the AWFUL backing track. I think someone tampered with the spectrum of the song to remove the vocals but alot of other things disapeared aswell.

Nice job, I have coached this song before...
I think you did a decent job on this, its good... 
My ears want to hear brighter harmonics in your formant. It is a little bit dark or throaty  in the overall sound color... I would like to hear this masked more... edge the vowels forward to the hard palette and brighten this a bit....
However, by the time you get to the 2nd chorus, it started lifting and getting brighter... Id say the 2nd half, it starts balancing in sound color... listen to how dark the first half is... its very different then the later 2/3 of the song. 1/3 of the song is a big too dark.

Hey man! I think it sounded awesome  the only thing I would change in order to get even closer to the original would be to open your eh's a bit. make them a little more towards oh and you are spot on.
If yu do plan to do an instrumental and vocal cover, please let me know of you would like any guest singer  ayreon is one of my top favorite artists so it would be super fun to be a part of that.

To sing hard songs without any flaws is something best left to the virtuousos So don't think so much about it! Haha!
Generally, your "ee" och "oo"(?)-sounds are great (words like "gleaming", "betray", "beauty", "day" and "you", "true"). The vocal line "mystified by her beauty. Does the hunter pity his prey?" sounds really nice in regards to timbre, and gives me an opportunity to come with a few pointers:

1. When singing "does" use vibrato! You're a bit sour on that note, but by using vibrato you will negate it. Vibrato is a nice way of masking a sour note At the same time, from a compositional point of view I can see why you kept it straight, seeing as the other sustained notes in the phrase was sung with vibrato. Unfortunately, technical restrictions and artistic freedom counter each other.

2. "piTy". As a fellow swede I feel your pain haha, but it's supposed to be pronunced somehwere between t and d. Swenglish is a bit of a problem through-out the song, but I have the same problem. I can't sing words like "pity" correctly either. Bork bork bork!

The whole chorus sounds very nice as well, with the exception of "paradise" which sounds like it constains a bit of vocal fry. Sure, it's hair-splitting and nitpicky, but then you might understand how nice you sound when I say you sound "very nice"
You've got a warm typical "I'm in a professional band selling thousand of albums"-voice, which probably turn a lot of people green with envy (me included). You remind me of Daniel Gildenlöw; the vocalist of Pain of salvation.

Lastly, your distortion is not there yet, and your high notes sound strained, but in the grand scheme of things that's nothing. It will come with practice.
However, from my personal, non-professional experience, I've found that distortion and range go hand in hand. By applying a nice amount of distortion on a high note you're able to create the illusion that it's an easy note. BUT, I'm no vocal coach (and have never even visited one) so I think you should take this with a grain of salt. It might conjure a thought process about it at least
