  1. Thanx for listening GuitarGeorge. I record in a closet with no reflection at all but in this case i prefered no reverb at all but maybe a little would make it sound better for the majority.
  2. Thanx, Keith, for listening! This type of singing comes natural to me, i think me and James have a similair timbre, low baritone kind of voice. I also noticed that i sounded a little like Tom Araya in some parts :)
  3. Hi, here it is again, now with vocals on both speakers . I made a few other changes as well.
  4. Hahahha, you guys are right of course. I will upload a new version tonight and maybe also change some parts. By the way, there are no delay or reverb in this mix. Would that sound better in this type of music or no, what do you guys think? I liked my vocals more clean here but maybe that is only me, i did use alot of compression, but that´s it.
  5. Sounds fantastic as always, Igor. One big advantage with singing in English is because of its huge word supply, there are lots of synonyms and it is more easy to rhyme in English than most other languages.
  6. Igor, my man, you are a real power-house, and nowadays you use your rasp voice more frequently which is more my cup of tea.
  7. Sorry, mate, i have listened to it once more and everything works fine here. Does anybody else experience this problem?
  8. Thanx, for listening, Igor! I am not sure i understand what you mean. There is only sound in the left channel?
  9. Lately i have been playing around with this excellent song by Metallica. Please critique... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4OdgCXtjoY
  10. Hi, Snax, nice to have you back and what a comeback! Too bad the mix/sound quality of your voice isn´t top notch IMO. The mix is in the vein of Journey but i think you overdid it this time. I would have liked your beautiful voice more present, it sounds a little blurry for this type of song.
  11. Nothing to complain about here, Felipe, it´s sounds great and you have captured the timbre of Phil Anselmo. Awesome!
  12. Thanx for listening, Ron, yeah i am sure you are right about the phrase "life´s a never-ending wheel", i found the high note in "wheel" very difficult. Harmonic note in the end? I am not sure what you mean, Ron, i didn´t do any harmonies for this song.
  13. Very nice, cover, Keith, i liked it very much.
  14. Nice attempt Igor. The verses are out of rhythm and that´s a shame. Cool video.
  15. I made another version with some sick changes I tried to spot the pitchy parts as well. Did i succeed?
  16. I listened to your examples on Soundcloud, your voice sounds very good Halfajack. You know how to mix too, very good sound quality of your clips. Congrats!
  17. Thanx for listening Halfajack. I shouldn´t do it either (cover a Dio song) but i prefer to sing songs i like, unfortunately the songs i like the most are sung by some of the best metal singers in the history, so... That is cool, Slstone, i don´t like Lordi so much anymore because they made me eat a hat a couple of years ago. I made a bet when they competed in the Eurovision Song Contest that i would eat my hat if they won the contest and they did. so... PS I like Lordi :)
  18. Hi, Xamedhi, this is a new song for me, pretty cool. You have a very pleasant voice, your mixed voice could sound a little thicker i guess. Good job!
  19. Sounds awesome MDEW, both guitar playing and voice.
  20. Thanx for listening Igor, MDEW and Adolph. Yes, Adolph, that is true, if you are a solo artist you must have a good voice, some luck and good looks or else you won´t make it to the top within the genre of popular music.
  21. Hello, Ron, thanx for listening. I always have alot of fun when i am singing and this was no exception. The poster was found in a typical Bieber fan's room - a 12-year-old girl and i thought it was a pretty fun photo to use.
  22. Hi, trying to sing "Holy Diver" by Dio. Critique always welcome, good as bad. Thanx in advance
  23. The most important thing is to be well prepared. Practise, practise and practise until you know the song well and that will boost your confidence. Then it could be a good idea to start sing in front of a small crowd, maybe your family or closest friends, just a few people to begin with and then work your way up.
